The author of Hebrews writes in 11:1-3
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the people of old received their commendation. By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.
Our God created the world ex nihilo – from nothing – and we are saved by faith in Jesus Christ alone per Genesis 15:6 that when Abraham believed he was deemed righteous.
We face a time where tomorrow is uncertain but realistically we have always been in the situation where tomorrow is uncertain. God has always been sovereign, Psalm 135:6
Whatever the Lord pleases, he does,
in heaven and on earth,
in the seas and all deeps.
It is under God’s sovereign reign, that we remain.
Now is a time to do what you can, but rest in the fact that God is sovereign.
Salvation is in the Lord Jesus Christ, so alleviate your fears!
