My experience with baby2mom
As a first time egg donor with baby2mom my experience was nothing short of being very warm and exciting. When I initially decided that I wanted to register as a donor I did not know what to expect and what the whole process required, but I was welcomed at baby2mom with open arms and an answer to every one of my questions. They made the process very easy and informative for me and ensured that I was taken care of at all the stages.
My process started with a profile registration and after that was approved I started my appointments to the doctors office to ensure that I was okay with my reproductive health. Once I was matched with a recipient and the process of donating my eggs got a green flag I then went for a psyche evaluation to ensure that my mental health was well taken care of prior to the official process beginning. Once I passed the psyche evaluation I then began taking hormone treatment under the doctors supervision and once the time was selected as being right according to my monthly cycle.
The hormone treatment that I took in preparation of the egg donation was very safe and I did not have any side effects. The treatment consisted of hormones that your body already makes just to encourage the growth of your eggs. So it was all safe and nothing foreign. Everything was explained to me prior to me taking the treatment and also at every step of the way. I was made to understand the purpose of every medication. The medication was very comfortable and I was able to do it on my own when I was at home. The medication took 14 days with routine doctor’s visits in-between to see if everything was still going as planned. The doctor’s visits included scans and a modification of treatment where necessary. All of which was safe.
The medical staff at the clinic always made me feel very comfortable and I was welcome to ask or query anything at any time. On the day of the egg retrieval everything went very well and the process was quick and close to painless. I was taken care of at all times. The recovery post egg retrieval was also quick and it only took a day for my whole body to come back to normal. I would rate the whole process five stars and I would definitely do it again.
