I have always wondered what people meant when they said that a child is a blessing. The little giggles and having a little person run after you during stressful times is always something we can never imagine until it happens to you. The fact that a person that gifts another woman in that regard gives me so much joy.
I have been wanting to be a mother since I was a teenager. Only because I feel that there are so many parts of myself I would like to explore with a minnie me or a little best friend, but economically it has not been easy for me to create that kind of blessing. It is such a difficult predicament to be in, to want something that you cannot afford and can only admire from a distance. But being able to bring that smile on the next person’s face is what I truly stand for without any fears.
Being a donor has its perks and you feel much lighter, knowing that your eggs have gone to waste. There is so much that can happen in life and during that time, one is continuously wondering the ‘right time’ will be for them to conceive is not always pleasant.
Having faith and being able to raise a child is such a great blessing. I am proud to be a person that helps the next mommy to be.
