I donated for the first time last week and I must say it was quite a journey.
I had so many people telling me not to do it, it’s not worth putting your body through that. But when I had my two children, I put my body through worse and it was definitely worth it, so why wouldn’t I do the same (much less) for someone else?
The staff at the Fembryo clinic in Port Elizabeth are absolutely amazing people and you feel so special when you walk in there.
My daughter, aged 7, asked me why Im playing with God’s will. If he wanted certain people to have children then he would have given them the ability to? So I said to her, it’s all part of God’s plan, he put me in their lives to help them and be a part of their journey.
I would recommend anyone to be apart of this process as it is so rewarding and special!
