Please note that fertility clinics will not proceed with an egg donor unless they have approved her medically and psychologically as an egg donor. This extends to the full medical assessment that may be undertaken. It includes, but is not limited to:
- Considering the donor’s contraceptives
- Health
- Age
- Previous donations if applicable
- Blood results: most often baby2mom does not even receive the blood results. baby2mom is not a medical professional, so not qualified to comment on donor blood results.
baby2mom can neither approve a donor declined by the clinic nor encourage the clinic to proceed with the donor.
baby2mom cannot respond at all to:
- The number of eggs retrieved
- Fertilisation results
- Any further medical development.
Recipients are please encouraged to discuss any medical concerns and developments with the fertility clinics.
