The blessing started one afternoon when Jenny phoned me as I got home. Having donated before I knew the blessings were about to come my way.
She explained the next donation would be in Pretoria East and our planning started.
The doctor was wonderfull, explaining to me his prosess and looking if everything was ready and healthy.
As expected I got a clean bill of health and we were off to start. The nurse gave me my meds, and like always I explain my fear of needles. She was so kind and gave me the injection with which I felt more comfortable.
The excitement came over me and I knew it was time to do my part. I barely felt a thing was a little uncomfortable for a day or two and then onto the hospital to donate.
Alll the nurses were friendly and helpfull making me feel safe and at home.
And soon it was over and I was in the recovery room where they brought me the best brealfast I had eaten in a hospital- almost like a resturant.
When the nausea was over I went back to the clinic where they told me they got 7 eggs. Its wonderfull! The family will definitely have a baby or even 2.
The best part for sure was getting the anonymous note from my recipient in my favourite colour. That is why I do this having a blessing such as this is more wonderfull than anything in the world. Giving someone the gift of a chance to have a family is better then anything you can ever receive.
