I recently finished my 6th and final donation and I must say, I feel a bit of emptiness and sadness.
I found baby2mom during a time in my life when all I saw, read and heard about was women abandoning and harming their children, and for the life of me I couldn’t understand why they were granted the gift of life and deserving women/parents had to suffer knowing that they could never have babies of their own….it upset me deeply.
I personally have never wanted children of my own even though I love them to bits and when I found your page on facebook I thought, “why not help people that really want children”. Your agency has given me a sense of purpose over the years and I thank you for that.
IVF treatment is not easy at all, it takes a lot of dedication and discipline to make sure that you go to the clinic when you have to and to take your medication and injections on time. I have tried to get so many women to sign up and I fully understand why many can’t go through with it, but it is worth every second.
I believe in what you are doing, you have a beautiful heart and I pray for the success of all future treatment for your recipients.
