Life’s been hectic this past week, my experience at Tygerberg was really good, I was a little surprised by the clinic as I have only donated at bigger clinics before, that can sometimes become a bit unpersonal, but Tygerberg was totally different from the rest.
They treated me as if I was their client, they always made sure I was comfortable and happy with what was happening throughout the whole process, I was never just ‘the donor’. They make you feel like you are their number one priority always whether it is at the appointments or over a phone call, when I needed confirmation or just some information. The doctors explain the process in very simple terms, that makes it easier to understand and follow the process.
The egg retrieval went very smooth they made sure I stayed as long as needed and did great. They also made sure that I knew when to come back in or call after if I suspected that anything was wrong or felt out of sorts. Hope donors have an amazing experience at Tygerberg, it really is a gift like no other ??
