A very different donation…
I embarked on the journey of donating my eggs for the 4th time, only this time, during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Scary wouldn’t you think? Nope. Nothing made me feel any kind of nerves or doubt! When you do this donation, you feel ‘chosen’. You do it for the hope and happiness that may come to be.
The entire process involved screening, constant doctor visits, monitoring and doing the daily injections and bloods being done. But after 2 weeks, you find yourself at a Fertility clinic to have the retrieval done and your journey then has come to the end… I pray that this is just the start of a new journey for the recipient ???
