| Why do you want to be an egg donor and if you had a message for your recipient what would it be? | A few years ago, I witnessed my stepmother, whom I love with all my heart, struggle to turn her dream of having her own baby into a reality. It was the happiest and saddest time of her life, and it was then, when I realized how much it truly means to be a daughter to a mother, even if it isn’t by blood. Even though having her own baby isn’t her reality or her dream anymore, it doesn’t take away from the fact that it could be another mother’s reality. It would fill me with the utmost amount of contentedness to be able to give somebody, even just the possibility of turning their dream into a reality. I want to give a couple the chance to become a mother and father a chance at being a father. |
| How do you best describe yourself? | I would say that I am the perfect example of an Ambivert (someone who falls in the middle of the introvert/extrovert continuum). I love going on adventures like hikes, road trips, and going out with my friends, but I would be equally content with being at home in my bed, reading a book or five on my Kindle. My friends would describe me as being very outgoing and I am definitely the “funny” one, and my family would describe me as being amiable and selfless. I think I am an extremely positive person, and the glass is definitely half-full. I am very confident, and I am not afraid to speak my mind, when it comes to my beliefs. My biggest pet peeve would be people who are unnecessarily rude or unkind. I am a bit of a neat freak, and I enjoy cleaning and organizing, which I consider to be a positive attribute. Reading is my absolute favourite thing to do, and I would love to have my own in-house library one day. I am a foodie, and my all time favourite food would be sushi. My dogs are my babies, and I have a fierce love for animals. Some of my previous pets include dogs, cats, a bearded dragon, a snake, fish, chickens, and bunnies. Family is everything to me, and I consider myself to be extremely lucky. My mom is my best friend, and I honestly do not know how I would cope without her. My dad is my rock, and he never fails to be the light on my darkest days. My brother is literally the funniest person I know, and his ambition inspires me daily. I also have the world’s sweetest and most caring grandparents, whom I look up to in a thousand ways. |
