Differences between South African Egg Donation and Canadian Egg Donation

• Egg donors recieve a gift for their contribution. The value of the egg donation gift is determined prior to egg donor ivf.

• Children conceived via egg donation can find out non-identifying information about their egg donor when they reach 16.
• Children conceived through egg donation can find out identifying information about their egg donor when they reach 18.
• Egg donors in the UK can claim a reimbursement of expenses incurred up to £55.19 per day and a maximum of £250 per egg donation cycle.

The laws differ per Australian state:

• Victoria egg donation - egg donation register is kept detailing identifying information about donors and donor children. Egg donors can find out how many children have been born as a result of their egg donation. Children conceived via egg donation can trace their genetic parents at the age of 18.
